I have dedicated this blog to calling to what I have called the hidden lineage. To be as clear as possible, here’s what I mean by the “hidden lineage.”
What I Mean by “Hidden Lineage”
It refers to a group—not formal, not institutional, not publicly recognized—of individuals who have undergone deep, often initiatory transformation outside of any outer system. They are:
- not initiated by ritual but by inner events,
- not certified but transformed,
- not recognized by hierarchy but by the resonance of their being.
They might never belong to a monastery, sangha, or academic circle. But they carry in their energetic architecture the marks of passage—death, rebirth, integration, humility, illumination. And often, solitude.
The Hallmarks of the Lineage
- A lived transformation that didn’t depend on dogma or external validation.
- A movement from ego identity to a deeper, more essential awareness (often through suffering, isolation, or spiritual crisis).
- A sense of mission or calling, but without institutional backing.
- A natural aversion to spiritual theatrics or self-promotion.
- A recognition of others in the lineage not through credentials—but through a kind of vibrational kinship.
